Andrew Litton
Conductor Andrew Litton led the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for twelve seasons. Among his numerous recordings with the orchestra was a highly acclaimed performance of the Rachmaninoff Piano Concertos with pianist Stephen Hough. In addition to being a frequent Guest Conductor in all of the major international music centers, Andrew Litton is the Music Director of Norway's Bergen Philharmonic, a 242-year-old orchestra once led by Edvard Grieg.

Conductor Andrew Litton is not the first, and probably not the last to say his musical inspiration came when he saw Leonard Bernstein conduct for the first time. It was at one of Bernstein's Young People's Concerts, and he even remembers the first thing he said after the concert.
Andrew Litton has been an advocate for classical music outreach throughout his career, and hosted a nationally broadcast children's television series which was used in schools' curriculums nationwide.
