Thomas Stacy is the English horn player with the New York Philharmonic. He has performed as soloist with the orchestra more than 65 times with Leonard Bernstein, Pierre Boulez, Sir Colin Davis, Erich Leinsdorf, Zubin Mehta, Sir Neville Mariner and Kurt Masur. Mr. Stacy has performed premieres of more than 25 works written especially for him and is the most recorded English horn player in the world.

As the English horn player for the New York Philharmonic, Thomas Stacy has been privileged to work with several generations of some of the finest conductors. Thomas Stacy is the long-time English horn and Oboe D'amore player with the New York Philharmonic. He's on most, if not all, of Leonard Bernstein's New York Philharmonic recordings.
